Cape Travel Collection (Pty) Ltd (registration 2024/293675/07), based in Cape Town, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
- Contact details: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, country.
- Trip details: dates, pickup points, group size, luggage, activities you are interested in.
- Children’s ages and child-seat needs, only when a parent or guardian gives them to us.
- Any health, mobility or dietary needs you choose to share so we can plan safely.
- Basic, anonymous website statistics (pages visited), and cookies only with your consent.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To plan, confirm and run your trip, transfers and pickups.
- To invoice you and keep records the law requires.
- To send you trip updates. We only send marketing if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We share only what is needed with the people who help deliver your trip: accommodation and activity partners you choose, our driver-guides, and the service providers that run our website, email and messaging. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa; we only use providers with appropriate protection in place, as POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t become bookings are deleted after 12 months. Booking and financial records are kept for as long as tax law requires (currently five years), then deleted.
Keeping it safe
Our website uses encryption (HTTPS), and access to your information is limited to the people who need it to plan your trip.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email info@capetravelcollection.com. If you are not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
